Job summary

externalpmacompanies is seeking an underwriting support professional to provide high-level support to the underwriting function in the United States. The role involves preparing new business quotes, rating new business and renewals, and meeting targeted due dates with accuracy.

You will complete portfolio processes before renewal dates, coordinate pre-underwriting activities, review applications, request information from agents, classify exposures, and assist in loss trend analysis.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of underwriting experience.
• Experience working with internal/external clients.
• Sufficient knowledge of at least one or more lines of business to approve and process new and renewal policies.
• Ability to maintain professional, proficient working relationships.
• Temporary position: ~24 months.

Responsibilities

• Complete portfolio process prior to renewal date.
• Complete pre-underwriting process of renewals and new business submissions.
• Coordinate pre-underwriting process including review of application and data requests.
• Order RMA, D&B, MVRs and synopsis; analyze loss trends.
