ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Underwriting Counsel to provide underwriting guidance and support on complex real estate transactions.

This national leader in commercial title and escrow services offers hybrid work in the Tampa area (3 days/week) or remote for strong candidates. The ideal candidate is a Florida-licensed attorney with 5–7 years in title insurance underwriting or equivalent real estate experience, strong knowledge of CRE law, and the ability to interpret standards and

Qualifikationen

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school required.
• Active Bar Admission in FL or remote state in good standing.
• 5-7 years of substantive experience in title insurance underwriting or comparable commercial real estate experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial real estate law, including federal and state regulations.
• Interpret and apply underwriting standards within delegated authority limits.
• Solid understanding of title insurance, closing settlement processes, and applicable regulations.
• Strong relationship-building with internal stakeholders and clients.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and business acumen.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage a large transaction volume.
• Effective verbal and written communication; professional and diplomatic.
• Collaborative mindset with decisive action when needed.
• Creative, solution-oriented approach to resolving title challenges.
• Ability to work hybrid 3 days a week in the Tampa metro area (remote eligible for strong candidates).

• Provide underwriting support and counsel on the issuance of title commitments and policies.
