Software Placement Group seeks a Commercial Underwriting Counsel Attorney for our client, a national leader in commercial title and escrow services, to provide underwriting guidance on complex CRE transactions. This role suits a CRE attorney or experienced title underwriter who enjoys applying legal analysis and partnering with internal teams and clients.

Hybrid (3 days/week in the Tampa‑metro office) or remote for approved candidates; compensation $100,000+ based on experience; quarterly bonus,

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active Bar Admission in Florida or the state of residence (if remote).
• 5–7 years of substantive title insurance underwriting or CRE experience in a law firm.
• Strong knowledge of CRE law, including federal and state regulations.
• Ability to interpret underwriting standards within delegated authority.
• Experience with title insurance transactions and closing settlements.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
