Job summary

Reading Truck is seeking a Truck Installation Technician II to complete installations of specialty truck equipment including service bodies, plows, and hitch assemblies. Perform mounting, wiring, and hydraulic work in a shop environment in Phoenix, AZ.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years welding and electrical wiring experience, the ability to troubleshoot, and proficiency with power tools. ASE certifications and basic tool readiness are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of welding skills (MIG, TIG)
• 2+ years of electrical wiring
• Independent ability to troubleshoot
• Ability to operate power hand tools

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and comply with PPE requirements.
• Install truck bodies, plows, and other commercial truck accessories.
• Mount hitches, shelves, drawers, ladder racks, Mud flaps, etc.
• Train with other mechanics as needed.
