Job description

We are currently accepting applications for a CDL – Dump Truck Driver wanting to advance their construction career. The ideal candidate will be able to pick up and deliver materials according to a schedule and perform all duties in accordance with company safety rules and Department of Transportation (DOT) road safety regulations.

*** Must be at least 23 years old, have a clean driving record, and a Class B Arkansas REAL ID Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)***

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a quad-axle dump truck in a safe and efficient manner.
• Transport aggregate materials to project sites throughout Arkansas.
• Conduct asphalt plant loading operations.
• Conduct asphalt paver offloading operations.

Position Requirements:

• Ability to maintain a Commercial Driver’s Medical Certification.
• Ability to operate a manual shift transmission (required).
• Willing to work various schedules including nights and weekends, when necessary.
• Willing to work out-of-town when necessary (only operate in Arkansas).

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

• Work environment is consistent of an office and facility with construction equipment inventory and repair/service shop and may also include construction job site.
• Noise levels can be loud.
• Safety training required; PPE required outside of office/parking lot area.
• PPE must comply with site specific requirements.
• Occasional lifting may be required up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time with frequent bending and stooping.
