Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking an experienced attorney to draft, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements with domestic and international suppliers. You will partner with Procurement and business teams to structure transactions while balancing legal, regulatory, operational, and business objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years negotiating and drafting commercial contracts in procurement, technology, consulting, and services.
• Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or highly regulated industries preferred.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to identify legal issues, assess risk, and provide practical business-focused advice.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad range of commercial agreements with domestic and international suppliers.
• Advise clients on contracting, risk, compliance, and governance matters.
• Collaborate with Procurement and business stakeholders to structure transactions.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks in third-party engagements.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance contract templates, playbooks, and standard provisions.
• Deliver training on contracting and vendor management to teams.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and other enterprise projects.
