Job summary

Big Brand Tire & Service in Novato, CA is seeking a Commercial Tire Technician to keep fleets and work vehicles safe, compliant, and road-ready. This is hands-on, high-impact work for techs who take pride in skill, speed, and reliability.

You’ll join a genuine team and contribute to fast, accurate service. The role includes growth into light mechanical tasks and a clear path for advancement within a nationwide tire and auto-repair organization.

Qualifications

• Commercial tire or automotive service experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Able to lift 70+ lbs and stand for long periods.
• Flexible weekends availability to support customer and fleet needs.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, and repair agricultural, commercial, light truck, and fleet tires.
• Perform roadside and in-shop tire services as needed.
• Repair flats and inflate tires to manufacturer and DOT specifications.
• Inspect tires and wheels for wear, damage, and safety concerns.
• Test, install, register, and reset TPMS sensors where applicable.
• Perform oil changes and basic service tasks as assigned.
• Conduct visual safety inspections and document findings clearly.
• Load, unload, stock, and organize commercial tire inventory.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and follow safety procedures.
• Work closely with team to deliver fast, accurate service.
• Opportunity to expand into light mechanical services as skills develop.

What You’ll Do
