Job summary

Big Brand Tire & Service in San Francisco is seeking a Commercial Tire Technician to keep fleets, trucks, and work vehicles road-ready. This hands-on role rewards accuracy, speed, and reliable service.

You’ll mount and repair tires, perform roadside and shop services, inspect tires, and work with the team to deliver fast, safe results. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 70+ lbs are required; opportunities for career growth exist.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, and repair agricultural, commercial, light truck, and fleet tires.
• Perform roadside and in-shop tire services as needed.
• Repair flats and inflate tires to manufacturer and DOT specifications.
• Inspect tires and wheels for wear, damage, and safety concerns.
• Test, install, register, and reset TPMS sensors when applicable.
• Perform oil changes and basic service tasks as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Mount, dismount, balance, and repair agricultural equipment, commercial, light truck, and fleet tires
• Perform roadside and in‑shop tire services as needed
• Repair flats and inflate tires to manufacturer and DOT specifications
• Inspect tires and wheels for wear, damage, and safety concerns
• Test, install, register, and reset TPMS sensors when applicable
• Perform oil changes and basic service tasks as assigned
• Conduct visual safety inspections and clearly document findings
• Load, unload, stock, and organize commercial tire inventory
• Maintain shop cleanliness and follow all safety procedures
• Work closely with your team to deliver fast, accurate, professional service
• Opportunity to expand into light mechanical services as skills develop
