Job summary

Purcell Tire & Service Centers in Reno, NV is hiring a Pickup & Delivery Driver to receive, deliver, and pick up tires and related products. You will operate a work truck and maintain routes to ensure timely, safe local deliveries.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean 3-year MVR, ability to pass background and drug screening, forklift certification, and the strength to lift heavy tires. Prior tire delivery experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean 3-year MVR with no DUIs.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background & drug screen.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to lift, pull, or push heavy objects.
• Previous delivery driver and/or tire experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and delivery of tire inventory to/from local area customers
• Operate a forklift and related equipment to sort, stack, & identify tires
• Maintain work truck clean and organized
• Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols
• Protect company assets (inventory, receivables, equip & real estate).
• Other essential and non-essential duties, as assigned by management

What You Need:

DRUG TESTING

*Purcell Tire tests for the presence of THC in all drug screenings for this position, due to the safety-sensitive nature of the job and the potential for injury or death when a tire is installed improperly or a safety-related mechanical issue is not properly conveyed to a customer. It is a bona fide occupational qualification for service technicians to be unimpaired, so the Company will continue testing for THC and other drugs under the safety-sensitive exceptions allowed by your state.
