Job Description

As a Commercial Territory Manager, you will be responsible for managing profitable new Commercial OE Coatings business within the Automotive Refinish group. You will collaborate with multiple direct accounts, Territory Managers, Architectural stores, and specialized distributors to achieve growth targets. Oversight and management will be provided by the refinish commercial regional sales manager, and you will report to the Commercial Regional Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain a strategic, value-based sales approach and foster long-term relationships with sales channel partners and internal teams.
  2. Identify and capture new business opportunities through business development and account maintenance.
  3. Seek out new opportunities in Commercial OE Coatings and Light Industrial Coatings markets.
  4. Collaborate with Territory Managers and distributors to enhance sales growth.
  5. Engage with existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention through effective communication.
  6. Conduct regular account reviews to evaluate performance and identify improvement areas.
  7. Develop and execute sales strategies to surpass growth objectives.
  8. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning.
  9. Leverage direct and distribution channel partnerships to meet sales goals.
  10. Coordinate with internal teams to align on sales plans and customer requirements.
  11. This is a fully remote position, requiring travel up to 50% for client meetings, industry events, and market research.
  12. Dedicate 100% of your time to industrial sales growth and account management.
  13. Manage customer relationships, engaging them in value-added activities.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  2. Experience in sales within the coatings or automotive industry.
  3. Strong understanding of commercial and industrial sales processes.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
