Job Description

As a Commercial Territory Manager, you will be responsible for managing profitable new Commercial OE Coatings business within the Automotive Refinish group. You will collaborate with multiple Direct accounts, Territory Managers, Architectural stores, and specialized distributors to achieve growth targets. Oversight and overall management will be provided by the Refinish Commercial Regional Sales Manager, and you will report directly to the Commercial Regional Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a strategic, value-based selling approach and foster long-term relationships with sales channel partners and internal teams.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in Commercial OE Coatings and Light Industrial Coatings.
  • Work closely with Territory Managers and distributors to enhance sales growth.
  • Engage with existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention through regular communication and account reviews.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to surpass growth objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to guide strategic planning.
  • Leverage partnerships with direct and distribution channels to meet sales goals.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align on sales plans and customer requirements.
  • This is a fully remote role, requiring up to 50% travel for client meetings, industry events, and market research.
  • Focus 100% of your time on industrial sales growth and account management.
  • Manage customer relationships, engaging clients in value-added activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in sales within the coatings or automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial sales processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
