Allianz Commercial is seeking a Surety professional to expand our U.S. Surety portfolio and deepen relationships with local brokers in the Central region. This role will drive underwriting quality and portfolio profitability while collaborating with regional and global teams.

You will leverage existing client relationships and industry knowledge to meet aggressive growth targets, while maintaining high standards of risk management and compliance. Competitive compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of industry experience minimum.
• Knowledge of U.S. surety market.
• Entrepreneurial mindset to set and hit goals.
• Proven ability to develop business with brokers.
• 4-year degree in business/economics/finance.
• Familiarity with AI and interest in applying it to business processes.

Responsabilités

• Work with Regional Surety Manager to execute the strategic plan and expand Allianz Trade's Surety in the Central US.
• Develop and underwrite a profitable Surety portfolio through broker relationships.
• Document decisions and recommendations clearly and consistently.
• Underwrite accounts per underwriting guidelines and portfolio requirements.
• Collaborate with Americas and international teams to leverage surety capabilities and client base.
• Attend industry groups and local surety events as requested.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with their Regional Surety Manager, executing on the established strategic business plan in order to maintain and expand Allianz Trade's Surety business in the United States withinthe Central region (Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Texas and/or Wisconsin).
• Developing and underwriting a profitable portfolio of Surety business through active engagement in the Surety marketplace with existing and new broker relationships in the local market.
• Documenting of all decisions and recommendations in a consistent and transparent manner.
• Conducting account and portfolio underwriting activities in a manner consistent with underwriting guidelines and portfolio management requirements established by Allianz Trade
• Collaborating with colleagues across the Americas and internationally in order to fully leverage surety capabilities and existing customer base.
• Attending industry groups and local surety events, as requested by the Regional Manager

Key Experience:

• Proven ability to underwrite and grow a Surety portfolio.
• Strong relationships with local brokers.
• Recognized expertise in the underwriting of surety accounts and risks.
• Proven track record of successful underwriting results

Key Requirements:

• 3-4 years of industry expereince, at a minimum.
• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in surety in the U.S. in your local market.
• Entrepreneurial skill set to establish and achieve goals and objectives.
• Established track record developing business with brokers.
• 4-year college degree with emphasis in business, economics, or finance.
• Looking for candidates who possess a basic awareness of Artificial Intelligence technologies and are enthusiastic about learning and integrating AI into everyday business processes.

Total Compensation range:

$130,000-$150,000

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual's relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary ranges are only one component of our total compensation package.
