Job summary

EBCO General Contractor, Ltd. seeks an experienced Commercial Traveling Superintendent based in TEXAS to lead ground-up and renovation commercial projects nationwide.

You will oversee field teams, drive safety and quality, and manage schedules and inspections across multiple sites, including QSR, schools, and retail centers. Ideal candidates have a minimum of 10 years as a lead superintendent and a strong track record managing complex commercial builds with a focus on craftsmanship and client

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of field experience in commercial construction as lead superintendent.
• OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and document all daily activities on the project site.
• Lead on-site teams, materials, tools, and subcontractors to achieve project goals.
• Enforce safety policies and maintain OSHA standards on site.
• Coordinate field inspections and maintain inspection logs.
• Manage project schedule and maintain project documentation (daily reports, photos, etc.).

This role is ideal for a construction leader who is passionate about craftsmanship, committed to safety, and motivated by seeing successful projects and satisfied customers.**This position is based in TEXAS.**Does this sound like you?Apply for a Superintendent position with us now or continue reading for a full description of what we’re looking for:Skills/Knowledge:* Have a good working knowledge of all project documents, including specifications, plans, submittals, subcontracts, shop drawings, and any other project specific documents.* Implement and enforce the company's safety policies and site-specific safety programs and promote a safety culture on the job site at all times.* Must be able to clearly communicate by verbal, written, or electronic means to all members of the project team.* Demonstrated leadership skills and strategies for organizing all scopes, people, materials, tools, and equipment to manage the project successfully.* Plan, direct, manage, oversee, and document all daily activities on the project site.* Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and structural systems.* Implement, manage, and maintain a worker orientation program for all new workers on the project.* Enforce the company's public safety program, ensuring the safety of all non-construction related people.* Advanced knowledge of OSHA requirements and how to successfully execute an OSHA site visit.* Implement, maintain, update, and communicate the project schedule.* Coordinate all required field inspections and maintain the inspection log.* Perform, upload, and maintain all company documentation requirements including, but not limited to, daily job reports, daily photographs, daily manpower reports, JHA's, tool box talks, progress plans, labor reports, etc.* Personal / Professional Relationships:* Represent the company and yourself with a positive, professional attitude at all times.* Must be able to work in harmony with all parties involved in the project.* Demonstrate the ability to clearly communicate with the project team, project owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to achieve positive results.* Promote positive subcontractor relations by dealing professionally and fairly with all subcontractors and vendors.## Qualifications* Preferred four (4) year degree in a construction-related curriculum or equivalent field experience, but not required.* Required minimum of 10 years of field experience in the construction industry as lead superintendent on commercial construction.* OSHA 30 preferred* Demonstrated leadership abilities to manage and direct on-site project teams to successful completion.Our traveling Superintendents are supported with a comprehensive benefits package designed to make life on the road rewarding and comfortable.
