Job summary

Dow Jones invites students to join a 10-week Summer 2027 Internship in Commercial Strategy and Business Development in New York. You will work in the OPIS Sales Business Unit, driving data-driven insights and supporting actionable commercial strategies.

As an aspiring analyst, you will gain hands-on experience with data analysis, market trends, and stakeholder reporting while partnering with mentors and senior leaders in a global internship community.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate degree program
• Graduating between Dec 2027 and July 2029 (U.S.)
• Does not require sponsorship for employment visa in the country of applying

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze to identify business opportunities and challenges, and develop actionable insights.
• Assist in centralising usage statistics, sales insights, and customer engagement policies across OPIS divisions.
• Streamline and prepare commercial reporting with relevant teams.
• Identify white space opportunities and size the total addressable market; help build a central whitespace repository.
• Support market trend research and competitor analyses to inform business strategies.
• Create reports and visualizations to communicate project updates and findings to technical/non-technical audiences.
• Document processes and best practices to align with strategic objectives.
• Track KPIs and engage stakeholders with regular updates.
