8MSolar LLC in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Commercial Project Manager to oversee solar projects from sale through installation and activation. You will manage electrical systems, commissioning, and client communication.

This role requires a 4‑year technical degree, 3+ years in solar field execution, and strong knowledge of Modbus TCP/RTU and SunSpec. Hybrid work in NC with onboarding and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Education: 4-year technical degree required.
• 3+ years hands‑on solar industry experience with field execution and startup.
• Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee parallel commercial projects from contract signing to closeout.
• Lead end‑to‑end commissioning of commercial solar PV systems.
• Configure inverter controls and DAS; diagnose Modbus TCP/RTU and SunSpec maps.
• Act as primary client liaison and manage billing milestones.
• Review drawings and coordinate field crews and inspections.
