Job summary

Citadel Roofing and Solar in Sacramento is seeking a skilled Solar Install Supervisor to lead a small team of 1-3 Installers. You’ll manage inventory, coordinate layout and assembly of solar modules, mounting hardware, and mechanical/structural mounting, ensuring projects start smoothly and stay on schedule.

This role requires 1–3 years of solar installation experience, the ability to lift 50 pounds, read solar drawings, and knowledge of NEC codes.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of solar installation experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to read solar and single line drawings.
• Knowledge of NEC electrical codes.
• Proficient at wiring and interconnecting grid tied inverters.
• Ability to work in extreme environments (sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc.).
• Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops; comfortable with heights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Previous commercial experience is a plus.

• Collaborate with Lead Electrician on AC scope
• Perform additional duties as needed

• Perform both DC and AC wire connections
• Proficient in conduit bending up to 1-1/4\" EMT
• Communicate and document job completion for scope assigned
• Make sure the jobsite is cleaned up nightly and at the end of the project
• Taking inventory of material needed to complete assigned work and sending it to the Lead Electrician or Superintendent
• Working with Lead Electrician if needed on AC scope and learning AC side of projects as well
• Additional duties required as needed
