Citadel Roofing and Solar is seeking a reliable installer helper to support rooftop solar installations, including inventory pulls, pre-assembly of materials, and mounting of modules and racking.

You will help ensure job sites are tidy, communicate completion, and assist with ladder work and roof access, while meeting safety requirements.

Qualifications

• 1 year of roofing and/or solar installation or general construction
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable and able to work in challenging environments
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Comfort with ladders, rooftops, and staying on your feet for long periods

• Layout and assembly of solar modules / array and mounting hardware
• Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment
• Communicate and document job completion
• Keep jobsite clean nightly and at project end
• Additional duties as needed

Description

Responsibilities:

• Help with inventory pulls and organizing parts for large commercial sites
• Pre-assemble job material
• Layout and assembly of solar modules / array and mounting hardware
• Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment
• Communicate and document job completion
• Make sure the jobsite is cleaned up nightly and at the end of the project
• Additional duties as needed

Qualifications:

• 1 year of roofing and/or solar installation or general construction required
• Previous solar experience preferred
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to work in extreme environments (sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc.)
• Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, and work on rooftops, and be able to stay on your feet for long periods of time. Must be comfortable with heights.
• Must be reliable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Excellent customer service skills required
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
