Job description

Bryan Electric is seeking a Full-Time Service Technician Electrician to join our Service/Rollout team.

The Service/Small Project Commercial Electrician will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and installing electrical systems and equipment in customer facilities. This role involves working during normal hours with a rotational on-call schedule 24/7, as well as performing small project electrical installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively and professionally, both written and verbally, including accurate completion of daily paperwork.
• Respond to customer electrical needs professionally.
• Understand and implement OSHA requirements and company safety policies.
• Enter data into service management software via mobile tablet to update work orders, track, document, and invoice.
• Provide reports such as Time Sheets, Employee Evaluations, and Vehicle Inspections to management.
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning systems and determine repair strategies.
• Install systems according to NEC standards and applicable regulations.
• Communicate issues clearly to customers and management.
• Requisition materials, tools, and manpower needed for work orders.
• Manage resources to control budgets effectively.
• Care for assigned service vehicle, tools, inventory, and equipment.
• Manage, train, and develop assigned manpower.

Required Skills

• At least 5 years of commercial and industrial electrical experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with test equipment.
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code.
• Ability to operate and maintain a specialized electrical service vehicle (license required).
