Responsibilities

The selected candidate will work as an Electrical Service Technician for M.C. Dean's Service & National Accounts Group, which operates 24/7/365 to support our customers. Known for providing The Ultimate Customer Experience, we offer world-class support and training, fostering a family-oriented culture focused on customer satisfaction, quality, and safety.

This regional service position requires regular travel to cities in and around your area. You will be responsible for electrical installations, servicing basic electrical equipment and systems according to all applicable plans, specifications, and codes. Your role includes resolving customer electrical issues professionally and safely, and maintaining a professional appearance at all times.

• Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components, and devices based on blueprints and building plans.
• Installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining EMS systems, smart breakers, electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors, and components.
• Inspecting installation sites and studying work orders, building plans, and manuals to determine materials and procedures.
• Testing electrical systems and circuit continuity using test devices.
• Diagnosing malfunctioning systems and components to identify and correct issues.
• Training and directing workers in installing, maintaining, or repairing electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years experience in the commercial electrical service industry.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Reliable transportation.
• Proficient with electrical tools and testing equipment.
• Comfortable using smart devices and web-based applications.
• Committed to high-quality work and safety standards.
• Wearing OSHA-approved attire as specified.
• Punctuality and teamwork skills.

Optional but preferred:

• Journeyman's license or equivalent.
• Additional certifications (e.g., Lift and Aerial Training, NFPA 70E, OSHA 30).

Abilities

• Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 pounds, following safety protocols.
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet and climb ladders and scaffolds safely.
• Physical capability to perform routine tasks involving walking, climbing, lifting, and reaching.
• Good vision (corrected if necessary), color vision, and communication skills in English.
• Recognize potential problems without necessarily solving them immediately.
• Apply general rules to specific problems and synthesize information to draw conclusions.
• Detail-oriented with good close-range vision and auditory comprehension.
