Job Summary:

The GDI/Ainsworth family is seeking an energetic team member responsible for performing routine and specialized maintenance and repairs in various areas such as buildings, equipment, and grounds. Tasks may include painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, janitorial duties, or other specialized work as required by client facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance.
  • Handle basic repairs and maintenance.
  • Perform specialized maintenance work as required, such as operation and maintenance of heavy machinery (e.g., excavators, graders), vehicle maintenance, millwork, carpentry repairs, roadway and grounds maintenance, dock locks and levelers, door systems, roofing repairs, etc.
  • Coordinate and oversee contractors for professional repairs.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and implement corrections.
  • Maintain electronic or paper records of maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • 3+ years of experience in the maintenance field.
  • Skills in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and repairing or replacing faulty parts.
