Job summary

K&D Factory Service is seeking a Commercial HVAC/R and Kitchen Service Technician (Dual Tech) to join our Pennsylvania team. This full-time role requires 2+ years of industry experience and a strong background in servicing commercial kitchen equipment and HVAC/R systems.

You will handle dispatched service calls, diagnose issues, document activities on a tablet, and contribute to an excellent customer experience. On-call work with overtime and a company vehicle are provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC/R.
• Strong knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• Driving record must align with safety standards.
• CFESA certification or manufacturer training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform dispatched service calls, diagnose, and repair service issues, and all other problems with commercial equipment.
• Report all service activities accurately on the tablet after every call.
• Provide excellent customer experience in supporting customers and partnering with internal team members.
• Ability to work on-call schedule (Including overtime pay).
• Operate and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment according to company guidelines.

K&D Factory Service has been servicing the Keystone State since 1945. K&D specializes in the repair of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment in restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes. Our technicians are servicing the Pennsylvania area out of 7 branches in Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Williamsport, Allentown, Altoona, and Scranton. We are seeking Technicians with 2+ years of industry or related experience to join our team!

What You’ll Do:

• Perform dispatched service calls, diagnose, and repair service issues, and all other problems with commercial equipment

What You Need to Apply:

• 2+ years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC/R or in a related industry
• Strong Knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems
• Driving record must align with our safety standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
• CFESA Certification or manufacturer training is a plus!
• Must be 18 years of age
• Completion of a Successful background check and drug screen
