Job summary

K&D Factory Service in Pennsylvania seeks a Commercial HVAC/R and Kitchen Service Technician to join our team across multiple locations. You’ll diagnose, repair, and service commercial equipment and report activities using a tablet, with on-call rotation and overtime pay.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of industry experience, knowledge of gas, steam, electrical or mechanical systems, and is capable of working with CFESA-certified training considered a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC/R or in a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• Driving record must align with safety standards.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Completion of a Successful background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform dispatched service calls, diagnose, and repair service issues with commercial equipment.
• Report all service activities accurately on the tablet after every call.
• Provide excellent customer experience and support to customers and internal teams.
• Ability to work on-call schedule (Including overtime pay).
• Operate and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment according to company guidelines.

K&D specializes in the repair of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment in restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes. Our technicians are servicing the Pennsylvania area out of 7 branches in Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Williamsport, Allentown, Altoona, and Scranton. We are seeking Technicians with 2+ years of industry or related experience to join our team!

What You’ll Do:

• Perform dispatched service calls, diagnose, and repair service issues, and all other problems with commercial equipment
• Report all service activities accurately on the tablet after every call
• Provide excellent customer experience in supporting customers and partnering with internal team members
• Ability to work on-call schedule (Including overtime pay)

What You Need to Apply:

• Strong Knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems
