Job summary

Unlimited Service Group is seeking an experienced technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and HVAC systems at customer sites. You will provide timely updates to customers and coordinating parts with the branch.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of three years in related repairs, a high school diploma or GED, and a clean driving record. On-call duties, safety, and ongoing certification support are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Three years experience in commercial kitchen cooking, refrigeration, and/or HVAC repair.
• High school graduate/GED or the equivalent in experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment.
• Communicate repair status updates with customer and branch.
• Communicate parts orders with branch.
• Complete service calls accurately and timely.
• Audit truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms per standards and safety.
• Meet on-call requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Properly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking (hot-side) kitchen equipment, Commercial refrigeration, and or HVAC.
• Communicates repair status updates with customer and branch office.
• Communicate parts order(s) with branch.
• Completes service calls accurately and in a timely manner.
• Audits truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms consistent with Whaley standards and and safety first.
• Meet on-call requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Three years experience in commercial kitchen cooking, refrigeration, and/or HVAC repair.
• High school graduate/GED or the equivalent in experience

Skills, Abilities and Other Requirements

• Ability to work independently
• Ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot: automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical background is a plus.
• Journeyman License and or CFESA certification not required, but would be a plus.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and soft skills.
• Good driving record.
