Job summary

Whaley Foodservice, LLC is seeking a skilled service technician to maintain and repair commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and cooking equipment at customer sites in North Carolina. This full-time role includes competitive pay, on-call compensation, a company vehicle, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing systems; communicating repair status to customers and the branch office; keeping parts stocked on the vehicle; maintaining the service

Qualifications

• Three years commercial kitchen repair and/or refrigeration/HVAC experience.
• Strong electrical, HVAC/R, and mechanical background is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a satisfactory background check and drug screen.

• Accurately complete service calls in a timely manner.
• Monitor truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked on vehicle.

• Meet reasonable on-call requirements.
• Communicate with branch office to order parts for repairs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
• Valid Driver's license and driving record that aligns with our safety standards.
• Ability to accurately and promptly complete required paperwork.
• Excellent customer service skills.
