Job summary

Walker White Mechanical seeks a Commercial Service Plumber for our Columbia team. You will diagnose, repair, install, and maintain commercial plumbing systems for diverse clients, delivering reliable service with strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial plumbing service experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid South Carolina driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work in a variety of environments, including rooftops, mechanical rooms, crawl spaces, and outdoor job sites.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair commercial plumbing systems, including water, waste, vent, and storm systems.
• Troubleshoot leaks, stoppages, fixture failures, water line issues, and drainage problems.
• Install, replace, and maintain piping, valves, fixtures, water heaters, and plumbing equipment.
• Respond to scheduled maintenance and emergency service calls in a professional and timely manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and recommend corrective actions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and plumbing schematics.
• Accurately document service work, materials used, labor hours, and customer recommendations.
• Maintain compliance with all safety policies, industry standards, and applicable plumbing codes.
• Build strong customer relationships through professionalism, communication, and quality workmanship.
• Collaborate with service coordinators and fellow technicians to ensure excellent service delivery.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For
