Qualifications

• EPA Certification is required.
• 2+ years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
• EPA Certification (Required).
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC issues across commercial and industrial systems.
• Service and maintain rooftop units (RTUs), package units, split systems, and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and controls-related issues.
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly with customers.
• Complete service tickets and documentation accurately and promptly.
• Maintain safety and OSHA compliance.
• Represent Walker White Mechanical professionally at customer locations.
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development.

What You'll Do

As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you'll troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and service commercial HVAC equipment while delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC issues across commercial and industrial systems
• Service and maintain rooftop units (RTUs), package units, split systems, and associated HVAC equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize system performance and reliability
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and controls-related issues
• Identify system deficiencies and recommend appropriate solutions
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly with customers
• Complete service tickets and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety and OSHA compliance
• Represent Walker White Mechanical professionally at customer locations
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development opportunities

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing commercial HVAC equipment
• Working knowledge of RTUs, package units, split systems, and refrigeration systems
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
• EPA Certification (Required)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Dependable work ethic and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience
• Experience with chillers and building automation/control systems
• HVAC certifications or technical training
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
• Experience servicing a variety of commercial HVAC manufacturers and equipment types
