Job summary

Comfort Systems USA Southwest is hiring a Commercial Service Plumber for long-term work in Arizona. The role involves diagnosing and repairing commercial plumbing systems, reading schematics, and coordinating with HVAC/electrical teams.

You will maintain documentation, ensure code compliance, and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial/industrial plumbing, strong diagnostic skills with line inspection cameras, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial plumbing.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems and building codes.
• Skilled with diagnostic tools including line inspection cameras.
• Self-starter with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and good communication.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Arizona plumbing license preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping.
• Use cameras to inspect lines and diagnose issues; perform drain cleaning where needed.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on domestic water, sanitary systems, gas piping, water heaters, pumps, and backflow devices.
• Read blueprints and system schematics; interpret drawings.
• Coordinate with HVAC and electrical teams on integrated systems.
• Document repairs, parts used and customer communications clearly.
• Ensure compliance with local/state plumbing codes and safety standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools including cameras to inspect lines and accurately assess hidden issues. Using drain cleaning equipment to clear lines.
• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance for:
  • Domestic water and sanitary systems
  • Gas piping, water heaters, pumps, and backflow devices
  • Drainage, waste, and vent systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and system schematics.
• Work with HVAC and electrical teams on integrated mechanical systems.
• Document work clearly and completely, including repairs, parts used, and customer communications.
• Ensure all work complies with local/state plumbing codes and jobsite safety standards.
