Job description

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Service Manager to execute commercial service work throughout the company’s portfolio. This includes, but is not limited to, coordinating routine and emergency service calls, selling and executing maintenance and service agreements, and helping to develop the service line of business at Berg Enterprises, Inc.

This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and is considered an entry-level position. Specific HVAC, mechanical, or construction experience is not necessary, but strong communication and customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities.

  • Be the point of contact for any service manager work

  • Schedule technicians accordingly and track all service appointments

  • Manage invoices and track finances

  • Keep the Commercial Service Department organized

  • Be a liaison within the company

  • Develop new opportunities, people, and processes

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Ability to exercise tact, courtesy, and ethics when dealing with vendors, co-workers, and customers

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Salesforce CRM, and other business management software
