Job summary

CPI Security is seeking a Commercial Sales Representative in Wilmington, NC. You will design, present, and sell security and automation solutions to commercial clients, generating and pursuing leads to meet sales targets. The role offers a base plus commissions and a path for growth within a supportive team.

You will work with customers to identify needs, design solutions, and close deals while representing a company that emphasizes community safety and a strong, diverse culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1-2 years of outside sales experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Highly driven and motivated with strong work ethic and integrity.
• Strong time-management and organization skills.
• Excellent communication and professional credibility to influence decision-makers.
• Detail-oriented, creative, and decisive.
• Experience with a CRM system (Salesforce) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate CPI Security’s value and capabilities to potential customers.
• Self-generate opportunities and meet/exceed sales targets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers for satisfaction.
• Maintain a weekly appointment schedule with accounts in the assigned location.
• Merchandise product sections and build displays to stimulate sales.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager to ensure goals are met.
