Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Commercial Patrol Agent in Charlotte, NC. You will monitor and protect client facilities, conduct routine patrols, and interact with tenants and visitors while upholding company policies and safety procedures.

This full-time role offers daytime and overnight shifts with competitive pay of $18.00 per hour plus benefits. You will work on a team that values reliability, integrity, and responsive customer service in a dynamic commercial environment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to deter unauthorized entry and disturbances.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities as required by site procedures and Allied Universal standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with property management, tenants, and visitors as needed.
• Remain alert and attentive while patrolling to help deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment for all occupants.
