Job summary

EasTec Inc seeks a skilled Commercial Electrician with expertise in commercial low-voltage systems, access control, and video surveillance to install, maintain, and repair security hardware and electrical components across commercial and industrial sites.

The role involves wiring, cabling, troubleshooting, and ensuring safety compliance while coordinating with software technicians for system integration and on-site support across multiple client locations.

Qualifications

• Experience with low-voltage systems including access control and video surveillance.
• Experience with electrical systems.
• Familiarity with commercial electrical work and data cabling.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Able to pass background investigation and drug screening.
• Willing to obtain a COVID-19 vaccination (site-specific).

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair access control systems, including readers, controllers, electronic locks, sensors, relays, and exit devices.
• Install and configure video surveillance systems, including cameras, mounts, NVRs, and related equipment.
• Integrate access control systems with video surveillance for seamless operation.
• Work with low-voltage power wiring, security systems, and other commercial electrical installations.
• Perform low-voltage cabling, termination, and testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, including power supplies and network devices.
• Ensure installations meet safety standards and electrical codes.
• Conduct site surveys to assess installation conditions and ensure successful system integration.
• Collaborate with software technicians to ensure hardware/software compatibility.
• Troubleshoot and repair video surveillance and access control hardware.
• Work on both commercial electrical work and low voltage security systems as required.
• Provide troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance services for both electrical and security hardware systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
