Tharp Consulting is seeking a Low Voltage Installation Service Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot security and life safety systems for commercial environments in Hermiston, Oregon. You will pull and route cable, mount devices, and commission systems.

You must read drawings, follow wiring standards and safety procedures, diagnose field issues, and collaborate with project teams to ensure reliable operation.

Low Voltage Installation Service Technician responsible for installing, servicing, and troubleshooting low voltage electronic security and life safety systems for commercial and enterprise environments.

Key Duties

• Pull, route, and terminate cabling for security and life safety systems.


• Mount, wire, and configure devices such as cameras, access control components, and intrusion detection equipment.


• Commission systems and verify proper operation.


• Diagnose and resolve field issues and service calls.


• Interpret drawings and follow technical documentation.


• Maintain strict safety and quality standards while working independently or with project teams.
