Job summary

Everon in Fremont, CA seeks a skilled technician to install and service commercial alarm, fire, CCTV, and card access systems. You will perform system testing, customer instruction, and ensure accurate documentation.

Must read blueprints, pull wires, and maintain tool inventory. Requirements include a high school diploma or vocational training, 1+ year experience, knowledge of intrusion and access systems, codes, and a valid driver’s license with ability to travel.

Qualifications

• Must have one or more years of experience.
• Must have a working knowledge of commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom and access control systems.
• Must have a working knowledge of local/national codes.
• Must be able to read drawings and pull wires accordingly.
• Must have a valid driver\'s license and be able to clear a pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, diagrams, policies, procedures, etc. as presented in English.

Responsibilities

• Installs commercial alarm, fire, CCTV, and Card Access systems.
• Provides reliable, high quality customer support.
• Performs customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
• Performs system testing and signal verification.
• Maintains truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools).
• Performs new system installations, upgrades, and additions.
• Organizes and utilizes technical resources to ensure efficient task execution.
• Monitors and ensures progress and completion of tasks.
• Completes and submits all required task-related activities and documentation in a timely manner.
