Job summary

Diversified Roofing is seeking a Commercial Sales Representative to develop new business and manage key client relationships in the Phoenix market. You will drive revenue through roofing projects, conduct site visits, and present tailored proposals to building owners and general contractors.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in sales within roofing or construction, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in roofing or construction.
• Experience with new construction and reroof.
• Ability to read construction documents and roof plans.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, generate, and qualify new commercial roofing leads.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, including GCs, property managers, and building owners.
• Conduct site visits, roof inspections, and evaluations to determine customer needs.
• Prepare and present proposals, scopes of work, and pricing.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead to contract.
• Collaborate with estimating, project management, and field operations.
• Attend industry networking events, trade shows, and association meetings.
• Track all sales activities in CRM and manage pipeline forecasts.
• Maintain a deep understanding of company services, roofing systems, warranties, and installation processes.

Position Overview

Qualifications

3+ years of sales experience, preferably in roofing, construction, or commercial services

Experience with new construction and reroof.

• Knowledge of commercial roofing systems (TPO, PVC, coatings, metal, modified bitumen) strongly preferred
• Ability to read construction documents, scopes of work, and roof plans (preferred)
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Proven ability to build relationships and close deals
• Comfortable performing rooftop assessments and site walks
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
