The Commercial Sales Manager is responsible for driving the commercial sales within their AutoZone location. The CSM develops and maintains positive relationships with commercial customers by managing the acquisition and delivery of products, providing ongoing customer service, and maintaining expert knowledge on parts and inventory. The CSM exceeds customer’s expectation by delivering WOW! Customer Service to all AZ Commercial accounts by Living the Pledge every day.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by maintaining and developing commercial sales. Develop new accounts through face-to-face and telephone contact with potential customers.
  • Act as the primary contact for commercial customers; maintain open communication between AutoZone and customers.
  • Ensure efficient delivery of products by planning routes and managing drivers. Ensure proper delivery documentation.
  • Maintain expert knowledge on automotive parts; conduct research to offer the right part at the right price.
  • Maintain records and billing; process returns and reconcile accounts.
  • Visit commercial accounts to ensure service and deliveries; contribute to a team environment by assisting with various business aspects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with management; assist in training drivers, specialists, and other staff as directed.
  • Maintain a safe working environment; ensure PPE use and safe practices.
  • Follow accident and claim procedures; ensure drivers are approved and vehicles are maintained.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
  • Effective leadership, communication, decision-making, and selling skills.
  • Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
  • Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
