Job summary

Vector Security is seeking a Commercial Sales Manager to oversee the Commercial Sales Department, supervise reps, and drive sales goals within the assigned territory.

You will partner with operations to deliver a complete customer experience, recruit and develop new sales talent, and create marketing initiatives to expand the pipeline while maintaining strong client relations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Successful sales experience is required.
• Previous management experience is highly preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to travel the territory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Commercial Sales Reps to meet sales objectives.
• Manage Sales Reps, ensure understanding of objectives, quotas, and pipelines; report results to management.
• Oversee market penetration, maintain positive customer relations, and plan to meet territory goals.
• Ride with Sales Reps on joint calls to coach and grow performance.
• Develop marketing initiatives and sales plans to expand the pipeline for each discipline.
• Review proposals with Sales Reps to maximize profitability and ensure in-person delivery to customers.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop new commercial sales reps.

Summary:

As a Commercial Sales Manager, you are responsible for the administrative and supervisory oversite of the Commercial Sales Department involving direct supervision of commercial sales reps, projecting goals and achieving sales objectives in defined territory or region . Assist GM in partnering with operations to support a complete customer experience .

Responsibilities:

• Commercial Sales Manager uses technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to assist Sales Representatives in influencing customers and assisting them in buying the products and services.
• Manage Sales Representatives, ensure that they clearly understand theirsales objectives, quotas, pipelineactivity. Report results and forecasts to branch andhome officemanagement.
• This positionis responsible formarket penetration and development, for the maintenance of positive customer relations, for achievement of the territory or districts bookings plan and for strategic planning to meet the territories long range commercial goals.Monitors competition by gatheringcurrent marketplace information on pricing,productsanddelivery schedules.
• Ride with Sales Representatives on joint sales calls to be able to mentor/coachin order togrow each to his/her fullest potential.
• Create marketing initiatives related to sales activities, including the development of sales and business plans designed to expand the pipeline for each discipline.
• Review proposals for customers with Sales Representativesin order tomaximize profitability and ensure proposals delivered in person to customers and prospects.
• Responsible for the recruitment, onboarding and development of new commercial sales representatives.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent - required; Bachelor's degree - preferred.
• Successful experience in Sales is required.
  • Strong sales skills to be able to train and develop successful sales reps.
• Previousmanagement experience highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead team members to reach their goals.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to travel the territory
