Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Commercial Specialist to drive WOW! customer service, grow commercial sales, and coordinate logistics from order to delivery. The role blends customer service, sales support, and operational coordination to help the department grow.

You will assist commercial customers, manage orders, and ensure accurate billing and timely deliveries while maintaining a focus on safety and compliance. Opportunities exist to lead in the manager’s absence and advance within AutoZone.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with billing, inventory, and delivery processes.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with company procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist commercial customers with product selection and order management.
• Maintain accurate billing records and on-time deliveries.
• Conduct account visits to build relationships and ensure service quality.
• Generate new business via inbound calls and in-person outreach.
• Follow cash handling procedures, including deposits and collections.
• Document and inspect all deliveries for accuracy and condition.
• Monitor and report on vehicle maintenance and safety.
• Manage battery consignment inventory and perform weekly stock checks.
• Handle returns and accident procedures according to company policy.
• Lead the commercial department in the absence of the Commercial Sales Manager.
• Promote a safe and compliant work environment for all team members.
