Job summary

National Design Mart is seeking a Commercial Sales/Estimator to drive new business in the commercial and multifamily construction markets. This in-office role requires building relationships with contractors, developers, property managers and builders while selling flooring, countertops, cabinetry, and interior finish products.

You will collaborate with estimating teams to craft accurate proposals, respond to bids and RFPs, and manage sales from initial contact to project completion.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial sales, outside sales, business development, construction sales or building materials sales.
• Experience with contractors, developers, property managers or multifamily clients.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and timelines.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, organized and results-driven.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
• Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, developers, builders, property managers, and commercial construction professionals.
• Identify and pursue new commercial and multifamily business opportunities.
• Sell flooring, countertops, cabinetry, and interior finish products and services.
• Respond to bids, project specifications, and RFP opportunities.
• Partner with estimating teams to develop accurate project proposals and pricing.
• Manage sales opportunities from initial contact through project completion.
• Track sales activity, project pipelines, and customer interactions using CRM software.
• Coordinate with operations, project management, and installation teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Attend networking events, industry meetings, and trade shows to build business relationships.
• Stay informed on market trends, construction activity, and competitive products.
