Role Overview: As a Commercial AV Sales Engineer at ESHA AV, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and providing technical expertise for our commercial audio-visual solutions. You will collaborate closely with clients to assess their AV needs, design tailored solutions and ensure successful implementation. Your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing communication and collaboration across various industries, including financial services, healthcare, education, and entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Develop and manage strong relationships with new and existing clients, gaining a deep understanding of their business goals and AV requirements.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with clients to assess their AV needs and work with ESHA AV technical team to design tailored solutions that align with their objectives.
  • Sales Support: Provide pre-sales support, including conducting thorough needs analysis, delivering compelling presentations, and preparing accurate and detailed estimates for proposed AV solutions.
  • Project Management: Work closely with the installation team to ensure the successful implementation of AV systems, managing multiple projects simultaneously whether that be in the pre-sale stage or an active sale.
  • Post-Sales Support: Offer ongoing support to clients, including communicating technical issues to the ESHA AV technical team and providing training on system usage during system deployment at client sites.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay updated on the latest developments in the AV industry to provide clients with innovative and effective solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in AV sales engineering or a related role in the AV industry.
  • Proven track record of selling AV solutions to commercial clients.
  • Strong general knowledge of AV equipment and systems.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close deals.
  • Experience in preparing detailed and accurate estimates.
  • Proficiency in using sales software, spreadsheets, and email.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites as needed.
