We are seeking skilled and passionate commercial roofing professionals to join our teams.

General Purpose

To effectively apply Mantis survey methodology in facility inspections (roof, walls, pavement, energy) for asset management projects. The primary focus will be on commercial roof surveys, with additional duties including pavement, building envelope, and quality assurance inspections.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate roofing assets with accuracy under the direction of a Project Manager/Coordinator
• Capture survey data using MANTIS tablet technology
• Take clear photographs of buildings, roofs, defects, and perimeters
• Measure perimeters and collect GPS data points
• Identify roof assembly, inventory, and defects, including hazardous conditions
• Remove debris, open drains, scuppers, gutters, and perform minor repairs as needed
• Make inspection recommendations and perform cross-training in pavement, envelope, and energy inspections

Safety

• Adhere to safety standards, wear PPE, participate in hazard analysis and safety briefings
• Report incidents and handle materials per SDS guidelines

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of construction/roofing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 10 and other safety certifications
• IIBEC RRO certification
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Roofing Technology Certificate

Working Environment and Physical Activities

• Travel up to 80-90%
• Heavy physical demands, including lifting, standing, and working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Climb ladders safely and communicate effectively

Cross Training Opportunities

• Wall and pavement surveys using handheld devices and GPS, assessing condition and hazards, providing recommendations

Pay rate: $22 - $30 per hour.
