Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Commercial Roofing Service Technician to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and maintain commercial roofing systems. This hands-on role requires the ability to work independently and deliver excellent service to customers.

Salary ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 per year with year-round work and a path for advancement. Western US locations available; benefits include medical, dental, and vision, plus a company vehicle and PTO.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial roofing experience preferred.
• Troubleshoot and locate roof leaks.
• Knowledge of common low-slope commercial roofing systems.
• Comfortable working at heights with ladders, lifts, fall protection.
• Physically demanding outdoor work and independent work capability.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose roof leaks and identify water intrusion sources.
• Perform commercial roof repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Complete service calls and emergency repairs.
• Inspect roofing systems and document deficiencies.
• Repair flashing, penetrations, seams, drains, curbs, and other components.
• Perform minor re-roof and restoration work as required.
• Document work with photos and service reports.
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations to customers and internal teams.
• Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and vehicles.
• Follow OSHA requirements and safety procedures.
• Work independently or with other technicians as needed.
