Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Service Technician to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and provide excellent service. The role involves inspecting and maintaining commercial roofing systems, with a hands-on, independent field position and a company vehicle or gas card option.

Salary range is $70,000–$90,000 per year with available locations across the Western US. Growth opportunities include Lead Technician, Foreman, and Service Management roles.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial roofing experience preferred.
• Experience with commercial roofing service/repair is strongly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and locate roof leaks.
• Knowledge of common low-slope commercial roofing systems.
• Comfortable working at heights and using ladders, lifts, and fall-protection equipment.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• OSHA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose roof leaks and identify source of water intrusion.
• Perform commercial roof repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Complete service calls and emergency repairs.
• Inspect roofing systems and document deficiencies.
• Repair flashing, penetrations, seams, drains, curbs, and other components.
• Perform minor re-roof and restoration work as required.
• Document completed work with photos and service reports.
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations to customers and internal teams.
• Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and vehicles.
• Follow OSHA requirements and safety procedures.
• Work independently or with other technicians per project needs.
