Job summary

Atlas Roofing & Waterproofing in Scottsdale is seeking a results-driven Operations Leader to oversee the commercial service and repair department, including scheduling, dispatch, and job tracking.

You will manage and mentor technicians, conduct roof inspections across multiple roofing systems, prepare estimates, and serve as the primary contact for commercial clients while ensuring safety, code compliance, and profitability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial roofing systems and repair techniques.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team of field technicians.
• Excellent communication skills with both crews and commercial clients.
• Experience with estimating and reading roof plans/specifications.
• Ability to climb roof access ladders, open hatches, and safely walk roofs.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Performance-based incentive compensation tied to department goals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates, scopes of work, and proposals for repair and maintenance projects.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial clients, property managers, and general contractors on service accounts.
• Ensure all work meets safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and local code requirements.
• Manage service department budget, job costing, and profitability.
• Coordinate material and equipment procurement for service jobs.
• Track key performance metrics for the department and report to ownership/senior leadership.
• Support business development by maintaining and growing relationships with existing commercial accounts.
