Job summary

Hi-Peak Staffing is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman to lead field crews on commercial roofing projects in the Omaha market. This hands-on leadership role requires knowledge of commercial roofing systems, crew management, safety, and quality workmanship.

You will read plans, coordinate production, ensure compliance with specifications, and mentor team members. Local travel and year-round, full-time hours offer stability and growth in a thriving trades environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Commercial Roofing Foreman or experienced Lead Roofer.
• Strong knowledge of commercial low-slope roofing systems.
• Experience with TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, BUR, and/or coatings.
• Proven ability to lead roofing crews and manage daily production.
• Strong understanding of roofing safety and fall protection requirements.
• Ability to read plans, specifications, and roofing details.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• OSHA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise commercial roofing crews on active job sites.
• Coordinate daily production, manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure roofing systems are installed according to project specifications and manufacturer requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, project details, and roofing specifications.
• Monitor jobsite safety and ensure crews follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Track project progress and communicate updates to Superintendents and Project Managers.
• Inspect completed work for quality and address any issues or punch-list items.
• Train and mentor crew members while maintaining productivity and accountability.
• Communicate professionally with General Contractors, customers, and other trades onsite.
• Assist with material planning, jobsite setup, and project closeout.
• Travel locally to project sites as needed.
