Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Sales Estimator / Project Manager for our Northern California commercial roofing and waterproofing operations. You will drive opportunities from initial contact through award, production, and completion, balancing sales, estimating, and project management duties to optimize revenue and project performance.

The role combines client-facing sales with technical estimating and on-site project oversight in a growing, established contractor serving Northern California

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial roofing experience preferred.
• Experience in sales, estimating, project management, or a combination of the three.
• Knowledge of TPO/PVC, coatings, waterproofing and related roofing applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with property managers, building owners, facility managers, general contractors, and other commercial clients.
• Perform site visits, roof inspections, measurements, and assessments.
• Identify appropriate roofing, restoration, repair, and waterproofing solutions.
• Prepare detailed estimates, scopes of work, budgets, and proposals.
• Present proposals and recommendations directly to customers.
• Follow up on outstanding proposals and help convert opportunities into awarded work.
• Manage awarded projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Coordinate with field operations, crews, vendors, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
• Assist with material procurement, scheduling, change orders, and project documentation.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, schedules, and overall profitability.
• Maintain strong communication with customers throughout the project.
• Identify additional service, maintenance, repair, and reroofing opportunities within existing accounts.
