$35 - $40/hour depending on experience

Our client, an industry leader in the commercial roofing industry for over 50 years, is looking for an experienced roofing maintenance and repair foreman. You willlead and perform high-quality repairs and maintenance on various commercial roof systems. The company was built on integrity, transparency, and responsiveness to client needs. Must be well organized, energetic, detail-oriented and a team player, able to handle a fast-paced job with deadlines. Full time position with benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Locate leaks and repair all types of roofing, including BUR, Modified Bitumen, EPDM, TPO/PVC, metal panels, and coatings.
• Oversee 1 person and be in service truck. Does inspections, performs repairs on small projects.
• Interaction w/business owners and building maintenance managers
• Make sound decisions, anticipate issues, and propose solutions.
• Lead by example, motivate the crew, and foster a positive team environment.
• Maintain company vehicles, power tools, and hand tools. Keep a clean and stocked service truck/van.
• Maintain professional interactions with customers and team members.
• Accurately complete work orders, document labor and materials, and provide photo documentation.
• Enforce company policies and safety protocols.
• Communicate company policies and procedures to the job crew.
• Monitor and manage tools.
• Ensure the job site is properly cleaned up at the end of each workday.
• Ensure compliance with all job safety standards established by the company and all regulatory agencies.
• Monitor, track and approve employee work time.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of commercial roofing experience.
• Experience in commercial construction.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable using Excel, Word, Outlook, and mobile devices (smartphone or tablet).
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.
