Job summary

Jolly Roofing & Contracting Co., LLC is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Inspector / Technician to join our team in Collierville, TN. You will conduct detailed inspections of diverse roofing systems, document findings with photos, and provide professional recommendations to customers and internal teams.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, communication, and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety standards and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience working with commercial roofing systems across various materials.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify deficiencies, leak sources, and maintenance needs.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and independent work ethic.
• Proficient with mobile technology, email, and basic software.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of commercial roofing systems to identify leaks, storm damage, defects, deterioration, and maintenance concerns.
• Evaluate roof conditions and prepare accurate inspection reports with photos and documentation.
• Inspect and assess TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, BUR, and metal roofing systems.
• Perform roof condition assessments and moisture investigations as needed.
• Identify repair requirements and provide recommendations for corrective action.
• Communicate findings clearly with Project Managers, Property Managers, Facility Managers, and customers.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and field documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, OSHA regulations, and customer requirements.
• Travel to commercial properties and job sites as required.
