Job summary

ABC Supply Co. is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to help customers purchase roofing, building, and remodeling products. You will determine customer needs, follow checklists, upsell, process orders, and coordinate with the warehouse to ensure on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in commercial roofing sales is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization abilities.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with sales software.
• Positive attitude and team orientation.

Responsibilities

• Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions.
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and upselling additional products and supplies.
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders.
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account.
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse.
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for.
• Reordering products to keep store and warehouse shelves well stocked.
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise.
