Job summary

Ideal Roofing & Waterproofing is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman to lead field crews on commercial and industrial roofing projects in Garden Grove, CA. This hands-on leadership role oversees daily jobsite operations and participates in installing TPO, PVC, Modified Bitumen, and roof coatings.

The Foreman will plan work, enforce safety, train crews, diagnose leaks, maintain quality, and ensure professional job sites while managing materials, tools, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing.
• Proven experience with multiple roofing systems and installation techniques.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills related to leak detection and repairs.
• Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing roofing crews.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Able to work at heights and outdoors.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and direct roofers and laborers, fostering teamwork, accountability, and jobsite discipline.
• Plan daily work activities and coordinate crew assignments.
• Install and oversee installation of commercial roofing systems (TPO, PVC, Modified Bitumen, roof coatings).
• Identify roof leaks and perform diagnostics.
• Ensure quality repairs and corrective actions.
• Conduct safety meetings and enforce safety protocols.
• Maintain clean, organized job sites and manage materials/tools.
• Drive company vehicles to job sites as needed.
• Communicate clearly with crew, supervisors and management.
