Job summary

Eagle Cornice, a Tecta America Co., is seeking a Production Field Superintendent in Cranston, RI. You will schedule and supervise commercial roofing crews on multiple jobsites, ensuring craftsmanship, safety and timely completion.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead field staff, monitor progress, manage documentation and coordinate inspections with manufacturers and authorities. This role requires 5+ years of roofing experience and at least 2 years of supervisory experience, with

Qualifications

• Commercial roofing experience, 5+ years is required.
• Supervisory experience, 2+ years is required.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English is highly desirable.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs regularly, 50+ lbs occasionally.
• Valid Driver’s license is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise roofing field operations with daily worksite visits to ensure project specifications are met;
• Regularly inspect work progress, equipment and jobsites to ensure all work order details and safety protocols are followed;
• Work closely with Production foremen to train roofing field staff with an emphasis on safety and employee development;
• Maintain documentation of projects, identifying variances, monitor expenditures and implement corrective action when necessary;
• Coordinate inspections from manufacturers and governing authorities, as needed;
• Communicate with Operations team regularly on work progress;
• Conduct materials inventory as needed and;
• Additional duties as assigned.

Position Overview

This position manages projects from start to finish, ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship, quality and production.

Position Responsibilities

• Work closely with Production foremen to train roofing field staff with an emphasis on safety and employee development;

• Ability to work in an outdoor setting, with varying weather conditions;
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business documents, job specifications, technical procedures and/or government regulations;
• Valid Driver’s license;
• Ability to follow instructions, perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines, and maintain a strong level of professionalism;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel.

Working Conditions

• Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and varying temperatures. General office environment with typical office machines and exposure to noise and temperature.
• Physical Effort: Extensive sitting, standing, bending, walking, kneeling, all expected activities. Ability to climb ladders and lift more than 25 lbs. regularly, 50 lbs. on occasion.
• Travel: Mostly local; within 1 hour.

Compensation

$70,000 to $80,000; BOE

This range represents a good faith estimate for the position and actual compensation will be based on numerous factors including knowledge, skills, training and experience. This position may also be eligible for bonuses, benefits and other forms of compensation.
